CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 90-142 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THAT THE INITIATIVE <br />PETITION FOR A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT, AS <br />PROPOSED BY THE SAVE PLEASANTON RIDGELANDS <br />COMMITTEE, QUALIFIES FOR THE NOVEMBER 6, ~990 <br />BALLOT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Save Pleasanton Ridgelands Committee circulated <br />within the City of Pleasanton a petition proposing that <br />the General Plan of the City of Pleasanton be amended <br />regarding the Pleasanton Ridgelands; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the above-referenced petition was submitted to the City <br />Clerk of the City of Pleasanton containing 5,582 <br />signatures; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the petition was submitted to the Registrar of Voters <br />for the County of Alameda to verify the signatures and <br />such verification indicated that the petition contained <br />the appropriate number of signatures needed to qualify <br />for an initiative. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council certifies that the initiative <br /> petition, proposed by the Save Pleasanton Ridgelands <br /> Committee, qualifies for the November 6, 1990 ballot. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
