RESOLUTION NO. 07-100 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, APPROVING THE INITIAL STUDY AND NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE PIMLICO DRIVE AND TURNOUT PROJECT, CIP NO. 011012 WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 20, 2007, the City Council received a proposed negative declaration and initial study for the project which consists of a water turnout station and water pipeline to be constructed within Pimlico Drive, Brockton Drive and Santa Rita Road; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the initial study dated August 2006 and corresponding negative declaration for the Pimlico Drive and Turnout Project along with the recommendations of City Staff; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed project; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of the initial study and negative declaration; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed project would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: SECTION 1. Approve the Initial Study and Negative Declaration for the Pimlico Drive and Turnout Project located on Pimlico Drive within the City of Pleasanton, attached as Exhibit "A" to this resolution. SECTION 2. City staff is directed to cause a Notice of Determination to be filed with the Alameda County Clerk. SECTION 3. City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at a regular meeting held on March 20, 2007.
