The area of the development shall be tested for strength and clarity of <br />signal to and from the area for City emergency services communications <br />including, but not limited to, City eight hundred megahertz (800 mgh) <br />trunked radio, Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Services radio, Alameda County <br />eight hundred megahertz (800 mgh) trunked radio, CLEMAR/ Police <br />Dispatch, and the current police mobile data system, unless waived by the <br />Police Department, City of Pleasanton. Expert opinions may be required in <br />anticipation of communications difficulties inside or around large <br />structures. Mitigation plans of less than acceptable communications shall <br />be submitted to the satisfaction of the Police Department prior to approval <br />and shall be financed by the applicant immediately upon approval. <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />76. Prior to final building inspection, the project developer shall post address <br />numerals on the building so as to be plainly visible from all adjoining streets or <br />driveways during both daylight and night time hours. <br />77. The applicant shall keep the site free of fire hazards from the start of lumber <br />construction until the final inspection. <br />78. Prior to any construction framing, the applicant shall provide adequate fire <br />protection facilities, including, but not limited to surface roads, fire hydrants, and <br />a water supply and water flow in conformance to the City's Fire Department <br />Standards able to suppress a major fire. When alternate methods of fire <br />protection are approved by the Fire Chief, this requirement may be waived or <br />modified. Proposed alternative methods of fire protection shall be submitted in <br />writing to the Fire Chief prior to any framing construction. Work on the alternative <br />fire protection methods shall not begin until approved by the Fire Chief. <br />79. Blue street "hydrant markers" shall be installed for all fire hydrants per City of <br />Pleasanton Standard Specifications. <br />80. The applicant shall ensure that fire protection facilities are installed and <br />serviceable prior to and during the time of construction. <br />is <br />
