Be <br /> <br />Evidence of completion of the required accredited semester <br />units or quarter hours equivalents may consist of any of the <br />following: <br /> <br />College transcript of grades. <br />Official grade slips from each of the courses. <br />Letter from the college registrar certifying the <br />completion of each course with a grade of "C" or <br />better. <br /> <br />20.7 <br /> <br />Termination of Educational Incentive Pay <br /> <br />Educational Incentive Pay shall be terminated at such time as the <br />employee receiving educational incentive pay is promoted to or <br />otherwise placed in a position requiring the educational level <br />which he currently possesses or a higher educational level. <br /> <br />20.8 <br /> <br />20.9 <br /> <br />Tuition Reimbursement <br /> <br />ae <br /> <br />Only employees enrolled in the Educational Incentive Plan <br />shall be eligible for tuition reimbursement. <br /> <br />Be <br /> <br />Ce <br /> <br />Tuition shall be reimbursed in the amount and at the rate <br />for internal degree levied by Hayward State University at <br />the time of the employee's enrollment in the courses for <br />which tuition reimbursement is requested. However, the <br />the maximum amount of tuition reimbursement shall not <br />exceed $300.00 per year per employee. <br />Tuition reimbursement shall not be received for any <br />individual courses (or class) not successfully <br />completed with a grade of "C" or better. <br /> <br />De <br /> <br />Employees submitting requests for tuition reimbursement <br />shall provide the Personnel Officer an official receipt <br />from the college or university verifying the payment of <br />tuition and an official transcript of the grades <br />received for which tuition is requested. <br /> <br />Book Reimbursement <br /> <br />Employees enrolled in the Educational Incentive Plan shall be <br />eligible for the reimbursement of the books required for those <br />classes taken as part of their approved educational program. The <br />amount reimbursed shall be the purchase price of the books less <br />the monies received from their resale. No reimbursement for <br />books shall be received for any class not successfully completed <br />with a grade of "C" or better. <br /> <br />Employees submitting requests for reimbursement for books shall <br />submit to the Personnel Officer the original purchase receipt in <br />addition to the receipt showing the monies received through <br />resale of said books. <br /> <br />- 30 - <br /> <br /> <br />
