CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-114 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING THE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF THE <br />GENERAL PLAN AS FILED UNDER CASE GP-90-2 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Joseph W. Callahan, Jr. has applied to amend the Land <br /> Use Element designation of the General Plan from <br /> "General and Limited Industrial" to "High Density <br /> Residential;" and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property is located at the southwest corner of Rheem <br /> Drive and Oakland Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's <br /> recommendations for approval of the proposed General <br /> Plan amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council determined that a Negative Declaration <br /> was appropriate for the proposed General Plan Amendment <br /> and adopted Resolution No. 90-113 approving the Negative <br /> Declaration; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held with respect to <br /> the General Plan Amendment at which time any member of <br /> the public was afforded the opportunity address the City <br /> Council on said amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to make changes to the Land Use <br /> Element of the General Plan at this time as one of the <br /> four times during the calendar year such changes may be <br /> made. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. city Council determines that this is one of the four <br /> times in 1990 that the Land Use Element of the General <br /> Plan may be amended as authorized by Government Code <br /> Section 65631. <br /> <br />Section 2. Amends the Land Use Element of the General Plan from <br /> "General and Limited Industrial" to "High Density <br /> Residential" for the approximately 4.26 acre site <br /> located at the southwest corner of Rheem Drive and <br /> Oakland Avenue. <br /> <br /> <br />
