ATTACHMENT1 <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, <br />APPROVING THE INITIAL STUDY AND NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE <br />PIMLICO DRIVE AND TURNOUT PROJECT, CIP NO. 011012 <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 20, 2007, the City Council received a proposed <br />negative declaration and initial study for the project which consists of a water turnout station and <br />water pipeline to be constructed within Pimlico Drive, Brockton Drive and Santa Rita Road; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the initial study dated August <br />2006 and corresponding negative declaration for the Pimlico Drive and Turnout Project along <br />with the recommendations of City Staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly Noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given <br />the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed project; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with <br />applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of the initial study and negative <br />declaration; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed project would not have any <br />significant adverse effects on the environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br />SECTION 1. Approve the Initial Study and Negative Declaration for the Pimlico Drive <br />and Turnout Project located on Pimlico Drive within the City of Pleasanton, attached as Exhibit <br />"A" to this resolution. <br />SECTION 2. City staff is directed to cause a Notice of Determination to be filed with the <br />Alameda County Clerk. <br />SECTION 3. City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into <br />the book of original resolutions. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br />a regular meeting held on March 20, 2007. <br />I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br />resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 20th day of March, <br />2007, by the following vote: <br />
