CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 90-113 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR CASE GP-90-2, APPLICATION OF JOSEPH W. CATWm~IAN, JR. FOR A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT TO 4.26 ACRES LOCATED IN THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF RHEEM DRIVE AND OAKLAND AVENUE WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 19, 1990, the city Council received a proposed negative declaration for the application of Joseph W. Callahan, Jr. to amend the Land Use Element designation of the General Plan from the "General and Limited Industrial" to the "High Density Residential" designation for the approximately 4.26 acre site located in the southwest corner of Rheem Drive and Oakland Avenue; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated April 29, 1990 and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed General Plan amendment; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed General Plan amendment would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for an amendment to the Land Use Element designation of the General Plan from the "General and Limited Industrial" to the "High Density Residential" designation for the approximately 4.26 acre site located in the southwest corner of Rheem Drive and Oakland Avenue (GP-90-2).
