CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-113 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION FOR CASE GP-90-2, APPLICATION <br />OF JOSEPH W. CATWm~IAN, JR. FOR A GENERAL <br />PLAN AMENDMENT TO 4.26 ACRES LOCATED IN <br />THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF RHEEM DRIVE AND <br />OAKLAND AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of June 19, 1990, the city Council <br />received a proposed negative declaration for <br />the application of Joseph W. Callahan, Jr. to amend <br />the Land Use Element designation of the General <br />Plan from the "General and Limited Industrial" to <br />the "High Density Residential" designation for the <br />approximately 4.26 acre site located in the <br />southwest corner of Rheem Drive and Oakland Avenue; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated April 29, 1990 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff and Planning <br />Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which <br />time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the <br />proposed General Plan amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of <br />Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact <br />Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed General <br />Plan amendment would not have any significant <br />adverse effects on the environment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> Approves the Negative Declaration for an <br />amendment to the Land Use Element designation of <br />the General Plan from the "General and Limited <br />Industrial" to the "High Density Residential" <br />designation for the approximately 4.26 acre site <br />located in the southwest corner of Rheem Drive and <br />Oakland Avenue (GP-90-2). <br /> <br /> <br />
