RESOLUTION NO. 07-094 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, MAKING <br />AN APPOINTMENT TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />WHEREAS, due to the resignation of Rick Dobbs from the Planning Commission an <br />untimely vacancy was created; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council just recently completed the commission <br />appointment process; and <br />WHEREAS, there are qualified applicants available to fill this vacancy; and <br />WHEREAS, Council at its February 6, 2007 meeting authorized the Mayor to make an <br />appointment from the list of available candidates; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor desires to appointment Kathy Narum to fill the unexpired term <br />ending September 30, 2010. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1: Kathy Narum is appointed to Planning Commission to fill an unexpired term <br />ending September 30, 2010, or until such time as she is replaced. <br />Section 2: City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into the <br />book of original resolutions. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br />a regular meeting held on February 20, 2007. <br />I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br />resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on February 20, 2007, by <br />the following vote: <br />Ayes: Councilmembers Cook-Kallio, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman <br />Noes: Councilmember McGovern <br />Absent: None <br />c ' ~. .i. ~ ~ ~ ~ <br />Karen iaz, City Clerk <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />~l ~Lr c~~~/~~__ <br />Michael H.
