CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-107 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION FOR THE WEST FOOTHITW, ROAD <br />CORRIDOR OVERLAY DISTRICT (RZ-90-5) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of June 19, 1990, the City Council <br />received a proposed negative declaration for <br />an amendment to the Pleasanton Municipal Code <br />establishing the West Foothill Road Corridor <br />Overlay District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated April 13, 1990 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff and Planning <br />Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which <br />time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the <br />proposed overlay district; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of <br />Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact <br />Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed <br />overlay district would not have any significant <br />adverse effects on the environment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> Approves the Negative Declaration for <br />the Pleasanton Municipal Code amendment <br />establishing the West Foothill Road Corridor <br />Overlay District. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
