Box 520 <br />Pleasanton, CA 94566 <br />RE: Geotechnical/Geologic Peer Review <br />Vineyard Pass Subdivision <br />865 Clara Lane ~ " " '° - <br />PUD-56 <br />Pleasanton, California <br />Dear Ms. Giffin: <br />At your request, we have performed ageotechnical/geologic peer review of the inveshgahon for the <br />proposed Vineyard Pass Subdivision (PUD-56). This parcel is located at 865 Clara Lane m Pleasanton, <br />California. Korbmacher Engineering (KE) performed a geotechnical study of this parcel and submitted <br />the results in a report dated June 20, 2006. You submitted a copy of this report to us for review. In <br />addition, we also have received 10 sheets of protect plans prepared by MI Architects titled "Vineyard <br />Pass Subdivision, 3 Lot Subdivision, R65 Clara Lane, Pleasanton, California," and dated September 6, <br />2005; this plan set included a topographic map and grading plan prepared by Govern Engineering (GE). <br />'fhe purpose of our peer review was to form opinions regarding whether the geotechnical/geologic studies <br />performed to date conform to generally accepted standards of practice and conform to the requirements of <br />the Vineyard Avenue Corridor Specific Plan. 'this work was performed jointly by the undersigned and <br />representatives of William Lettis and Associates. <br />SCOYF. OF SERVICES <br />As presented m our proposal dated November 24, 2003, our peer review included: <br />• An exammahon of the KE report and GE grading plans; <br />• A review of published geotechnical materials relevant to the site; <br />• An examination of historic aerial photographs of the area; <br />• Afield reconnaissance of the surficial conditions present; <br />• An exammahon of geotechnical/geologic materials m our tiles prepared for adtacent parcels; <br />
