Develop a matrix of potential programs and strategies to enhance diversion for <br />review and discussion by City staff and PGS; <br />• Survey similar jurisdictions to determine the effectiveness of proposed programs <br />and strategies to enhance diversion; <br />^ Perform technical studies or analysis to estimate the potential diversion to be <br />achieved from select programs and strategies; <br />• Develop planning level cost estimates of select programs and strategies; <br />• Review and comment on cost proposals from PGS to implement new programs <br />and strategies; <br />• Represent and/or assist City staff in discussions and negotiations with PGS on <br />contractual issues regarding proposed program and strategies; <br />• Assist with the development of public education and outreach materials relating <br />to new programs; <br />• Prepare and give presentations to the City Council, local business groups or <br />residents regarding new programs; <br />• Assist with the administration of a survey to local businesses and/or residents to <br />measure local acceptance of proposed new programs; <br />• Assist with implementation monitoring for new programs; <br />• Any other tasks or assignments as directed by the City Council. <br />Page 3 <br />
