CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-100 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON FOR AN ADDITION TO THE <br />POLICE BUILDING AS FILED UNDER CASE Z-90-178 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton has applied for design review <br />approval to construct an approximately 1,800 sq. ft. <br />first-floor and approximately 6,000 sq. ft. two-story <br />addition to the existing police facility located at 4833 <br />Bernal Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />zoning for the property is "P" (Public and <br />Institutional) District - Civic Overlay District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Council received the Planning Commission's <br />recommendations for approval of the proposed additions <br />to the Police Department facility; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that this proposal is appropriate <br />for the site. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> Approves Case Z-90-178, the application of the City of <br />Pleasanton for design review approval to construct an <br />approximately 1,800 sq. ft. first-floor and <br />approximately 6,000 sq. ft. two-story addition to the <br />existing police facility located at 4833 Bernal Avenue <br />subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />The project shall substantially conform to the <br />plans and elevations, dated March 30, 1990 on file <br />with the Planning Department, except as modified <br />herein. <br /> <br />That the windows on the two-story additions shall <br />be recessed a minimum of twelve inches. <br /> <br />That a £1nal landscaD~ Dlan shall be submitted to <br />the Planning Director for review and approval prior <br />to the issuance of a building permit. <br /> <br />That the project shall secure all required City <br />permits prior to the commencement of construction. <br /> <br /> <br />
