CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-93 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTIONAPPOINTING THE P~ASANTON <br />DOWNTOWN ASSOCIATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS <br />AS THE ADVISORY BOARD FOR THE DOWNTOWN <br />P?~SANTON BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton has heretofore established a <br />Downtown Pleasanton Business Improvement District <br />(Chapter 5.28, Pleasanton Municipal Code); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Parking and Business Improvement Area Law of <br />1989 (Streets and Highways Code §§36500 et seq.) <br />requires the City Council of the City of Pleasanton <br />to appoint an advisory board, which board shall <br />prepare a budget each fiscal year with a report <br />describing the improvements and activities of the <br />Downtown Improvement District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Pleasanton Downtown Association, a not for <br />profit corporation, has a Board of Directors which <br />could carry out the duties and responsibilities of <br />an advisory board. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> The Board of Directors of the Pleasanton Downtown <br />Association is hereby appointed as the City of <br />Pleasanton Advisory Board for the Downtown <br />Pleasanton Business Improvement District for the <br />fiscal year 1990-91, which Board is to carry out <br />the functions and responsibilities as provided in <br />the Parking and Business Improvement Area Law of <br />1989. <br /> <br /> <br />
