CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 90-84 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF PT~ASANTONAND PT~ASANTON POLICE OFFICERS' ASSOCIATIONANDAMENDING THE 1989-90 BUDGET WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton, acting through the City Manager as employer representative of the City Council, and representatives of the Pleasanton Police Officers' Association have met and conferred pursuant to the provisions of Section 3500, et seq., of the Government Code in regard to wages, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment for members of the Pleasanton Police Officers' Association; and WHEREAS, as a result of the above meeting and conferring process, a Memorandum of Understanding dated April 17, 1990 was entered into between the city Manager and representatives of the Pleasanton Police Officers' Association; and WHEREAS, said Memorandum of Understanding was presented to the City Council at the meeting of April 17, 1990; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The Memorandum of Understanding entered into between the City Manager and representatives of the Pleasanton Police Officers' Association, for a term commencing March 1, 1990 through February 28, 1991, attached hereto, is accepted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton, subject to the terms and conditions contained in the Memorandum of Understanding. Section 2: The employees' class titles and salary ranges to be paid by the City of Pleasanton to all employees in the Pleasanton Police Officers' Association during the period March 1, 1990 through February 28, 1991 shall be set forth in the Memorandum of Understanding, attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporate herein by reference. Section 3: The budget of the City of Pleasanton for fiscal year 1989-90 is hereby amended to reflect those changes enumerated in Exhibit A.
