CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-72 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING INVESTMENT POLICIES <br />AND GUIDELINES OF THE CITY OF PT~ASANTON <br />AND AUTHORIZING INVESTMENTS EXCEEDING <br />FIVE YEA~MATURITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of April 3, 1990, the City Manager <br />presented a report (SR 90:135) describing the <br />investment policies and guidelines used by the <br />staff of the City of Pleasanton, as outlined in <br />Section 53600 of the Government Code and required <br />by AB 1073, Chapter 1226, 1984 Statutes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />staff seeks authorization to restructure certain <br />investments of Assessment Districts 1974-4 and <br />1974-2 funds, which requires Council authorization <br />to exceed the five year maturity limit. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council hereby approves the Investment <br /> Policies and Guidelines, a copy of which is <br /> attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br /> reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City Council hereby authorizes the purchase <br /> of investment securities with maturities exceeding <br /> five years for Assessment Districts 1974-4 and <br /> 1974-2. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
