CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 90-70 RESOLUTION APPROVING A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT AS FILED BY THE PRUDENTIAL COMPANY UNDER CASE GP-90-O1 WHEREAS, WHEREAS, the Prudential Property Company has applied to amend the Land Use Element of the General Plan for an approximately 12.4 acre site located at the southwest corner of West Las Positas Boulevard and Stoneridge drive (Lot 24A of Hacienda Business park) from "Industrial, Commercial and offices" to "High Density Residential;" and the Planning Commission has held a public hearing on the proposed General Plan on February 28, 1990 and has made a positive recommendation concerning same; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on March 20, 1990, at which time the City Council reviewed the proposed General Plan amendment and considered all reports, documents, testimony, and recommendations; and WHEREAS, a Negative Declaration was prepared for Case GP-90-01 and on March 20, 1990 a resolution accepting the Negative Declaration was adopted; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to make changes to the Land Use Element of the General Plan at this time as one of the four times during the calendar year such changes may be made, this being the first such change. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Section 2: Amends the Land Use Element of the General Plan for an approximately 12.46 acre site located at the southwest corner of West Las Positas Boulevard and Stoneridge drive (Lot 24A of Hacienda Business Park) from "Industrial, Commercial and Offices" to "High Density Residential." This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
