The proposed floor areas are stated in the following table.

Land Use Floor Area
Home Depot Building Supply Store 106,432 square feet
Home Depot Garden Center 34,760 square-foot
Longs Drugs 15,789 square feet
Satellite Stores" A" 11,500 square feet
Satellite Stores "B" 1 0,000 square feet
Satellite Stores "C" 1 0,000 square feet
"Pad" Building w/Drive-Through 5,000 square feet
Total Floor Area 193,481 square feet

Uses
The Home Depot building supply store and garden center would be conditionally
allowed uses under the proposed PUD development plan for this property. The Longs
Drugs would be a permitted use. The pad buildings will accommodate neighborhood
retail businesses and personal services, which requires a modification of the Stanley
Business Park PUD. Tenants have not been identified for the pad buildings; however,
the applicants stated to the Planning Commission that they were in negotiations with
Starbucks for the drive-through building. The Planning Commission deleted liquor
stores as a conditionally allowed use and added a condition of approval prohibiting the
installation of grill facilities in this building so as to prevent a standard fast food drive-in
restaurant.

Operating Hours
The Home Depot's operating hours including deliveries will be from 6:00 a.m. to
10:00 p.m. From 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., the store's personnel will be stocking,
restocking, and cleaning the store and grounds. Longs Drugs' operating hours including
deliveries are from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., except for the drive-through, which may
operate 24 hours per day for prescription pharmaceutical sales only. Operating hours
have not been identified for the pad buildings.

Building Design
The proposed building designs respond to the Planning Commission's direction to
"blend the development's architecture with Pleasanton's character", and that the Home
Depot's building design must de-emphasize its "basic box structure". In fulfilling this
direction, the applicants and their consultants integrated the designs of the Home
Depot, Longs Drugs, and retail buildings together with the following design elements:

· Heavy stone wainscots, sloped roofs, horizontal siding, and heavy composition
shingle roof materials are used on all structures.

· Extensive detailing including gooseneck-style lamps, decorative retaining walls,
gas-lamp style walkway fixtures, trellises, roof dormers, awnings, and cupolas
are used on all structures.
