THE CITY OF <br />® _.. ~ m m .~. ~ ~T <br />j~L~E~S~4NTON~ <br />CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br />February 20, 2007 <br />Finance Department <br />TITLE: APPROVE A CONTRACT WITH FAIRBANK, MASLIN, MAULLIN 8~ <br />ASSOCIATES TO PROVIDE CONSULTANT SERVICES TO CONDUCT A <br />CITIZENS SURVEY AT A COST NOT TO EXCEED $46,300 <br />SUMMARY <br />This agenda report provides information concerning the need and process used to <br />make a recommendation to select a consultant to conduct a Citizens Survey. In <br />addition to a survey that will gauge overall satisfaction with City services and facilities, <br />the survey will be used to guide the Bernal Financing Committee in developing a <br />financing plan for the amenities identified in the Specific Plan approved by voters in <br />November 2006. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Approve a Professional Services Contract with Fairbank, Maslin, Maullin & Associates <br />to conduct a Citizens Survey at a cost not to exceed $46,300, and authorize the City <br />Manager to execute said agreement. <br />4 <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br />The consultant services contract to conduct a Citizens Survey is not to exceed $46,300. <br />There is sufficient funding in contingency set aside for this study. <br />
