RESOLUTION N0.07-090 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />APPROVING THE EXPENDITURE OF CITIZENS' OPTIONS FOR PUBLIC SAFETY <br />PROGRAM FUNDS (COPS) <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of February 6, 2007, the City Council was presented a report <br />recommending the use of Citizens' Option for Public Safety (COPS) funds received from the <br />State, as outlined in Section 30061 of the Government Code and in accordance with AB 1584. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: The City Council hereby approves the recommendations for expenditures of <br />COPS funds, which are as follows: <br />Approximate <br /> Allocation <br />Volunteers in Policing Services (NIPS) Program $ 5,000 <br />Krimesite Imager 17,000 <br />Mounted AR-15 Lighting System 12,220 <br />Centurion Scout Alarm 7,000 <br />Click2Enter 6,410 <br />Patrol Ballistic Shield & Monoshock Ram 7,000 <br />Bicycle Uniforms 2,300 <br />Rifle Mounted Night Vision 22,000 <br />Digital Cameras 26,520 <br />PPD Security System Upgrade 10,000 <br />Recruitment: Professional Journals & Publications 7,500 <br />Thermal Imaging Cameras 9,050 <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br />adoption. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br />a regular meeting held on the 6'" day of February 2007. <br />I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br />resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 6'" day of February, <br />2007, by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Councilmembers Cook-Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterrnan <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />Abstain: None <br />Kar Diaz, City CIer4 <br />APPROVED AS TO FOR <br />~icc.~c,,fe ~~~~ <br />Michael H.
