40. Portable toilets used during construction shall be emptied on a regular basis as <br />necessary to prevent odor. <br />41. Dust and mud shall be contained within the boundaries of the property during times of <br />construction. The project developer shall submit a dust control plan or procedure as part <br />of the building permit plans. <br />42. The project developer shall submit a waste generation disposal and diversion plan to the <br />Building and Safety Division prior to issuance of building or demolition permits. The plan <br />shall include the estimated composition and quantities of waste to be generated and how <br />the project developer shall recycle at least fifty percent (50%) of the job site construction <br />and demolition waste. Proof of compliance shall be provided to the Chief Building <br />Official prior to the issuance of final occupancy. During demolition and construction, the <br />project developer shall mark all trash disposal bins "trash materials only" and all <br />recycling bins "recycling materials only". The project developer shall contact Pleasanton <br />Garbage Service for all waste disposal. Only that portion of trash and recycling waste <br />refused by Pleasanton Garbage Service shall be disposed of or diverted by another <br />trash/recycling company. <br />43. The height of the building shall be surveyed and verified as being in conformance to the <br />approved building height as shown on Exhibit "A" or as otherwise conditioned. Said <br />verification is the project developer's responsibility, shall be performed by a licensed land <br />surveyor or civil engineer, and shall be completed and provided to the Planning <br />Department before the first framing or structural inspection by the Building and Safety <br />Division. <br />44. The applicant shall submit a pad elevation certification prepared by a licensed land <br />surveyor or registered civil engineer to the Chief Building Official and Planning Director, <br />certifying that the pad elevations and building location (setbacks) are pursuant to the <br />approved plans, prior to receiving a foundation inspection for the structure. <br />45. Final inspection by the Planning Department is required prior to occupancy. <br />46. If archeological materials are uncovered during grading, trenching, or other on-site <br />excavation, all work on site shall be stopped and the City immediately notified. The <br />county coroner and the Native American Heritage Commission shall also be notified and <br />procedures followed as required in Appendix K of the California Environmental Quality <br />Act. A similar note shall appear on the improvement plans. <br />47. All backflow prevention devices installed with the development shall be painted forest <br />green (Pantone Color System Number 357) and shall be screened from view from public <br />streets. Screens shall consist of berms, walls, or landscaping satisfactorily integrated <br />into the landscape plan. Landscape screens shall include shrubbery designed by <br />species and planting density to establish a complete screen within one year from the <br />date of planting. Weather protection devices such as measures to protect pipes from <br />freezing shall require approval by the Planning Director prior to use; at no time shall <br />fabric or other material not designed and/or intended for this purpose be wrapped <br />around or otherwise placed on these devices. All backflow prevention devices shall be <br />shown on the plans submitted for issuance of building permits together with screening <br />mechanism and/ or weather protection devices.
