CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-43 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 76-79 <br />(ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS FOR <br />CITY STREETS) BY AMRNDING SECTION 3 (STOP <br />INTERSECTIONS) TO ESTABLISH A THREE WAY <br />STOP AT THE INTERSECTION OF DRYWOOD <br />STREET AND HIGHLAND OAKS DRIVE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on April 12, 1976, the City Council adopted <br />Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing <br />Traffic Regulations for City Streets); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has from time to time amended <br />Resolution No. 76-79; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of March 6, 1990, the City Council <br />received and discussed a petition requesting a <br />three-way stop sign at the intersection of Drywood <br />Street and Highland Oaks Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />it was determined to be necessary to amend <br />Resolution No. 76-79 to amend Section 3 to <br />establish the three-way stop as described above; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing <br />Traffic Regulations for City Streets) is hereby <br />amended by adding the following subsections to <br />Section 3 (Stop Intersections): <br /> <br />3d-9 Drywood Street, at Highland Oaks Drive; <br /> stopping traffic on Drywood Street. <br /> <br />3h-9 Highland Oaks Drive, at Drywood Street; <br /> stopping traffic on Highland Oaks Drive in <br /> both directions. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
