<br />RESOLUTION NO. 07-084 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, <br />RESOLUTION MAKING APPOINTMENTS TO VARIOUS COMMISSIONS AND <br />COMMITTEES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, due to the expiration of various terms and/or resignations, vacancies have <br />occurred on various commissions and committees; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, applications were received and interviews held with various individuals who <br />are interested in serving on the commissions and/or committees and their qualifications <br />evaluated. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1: Christine Steiner is appointed to be Pleasanton's Representative to the <br />County of Alameda Housing Authority Housing Commission to fill the unexpired term of Joanne <br />Olsen, which term expires on December 31, 2007, or until such time as she is replaced; <br /> <br />Section 2: Edgar Centeno is reappointed to the Alameda County Mosquito Abatement <br />District to a third two-year term, which term expires on December 31,2008, or until such time as <br />he is replaced; <br /> <br />Section 3: Claudia Hess is appointed to a four-year term as alternate to the Civic Arts <br />Commission, which term expires on September 30, 2010, or until such time as she is replaced; <br /> <br />Section 4: Carl Palowitch is appointed to a four-year term as the At-large <br />Representative to the Economic Vitality Committee, which term expires on September 30, 2010, <br />or until such time as he is replaced;; <br /> <br />Section 5: Pamela Hardy is appointed to a four-year term as the Residential Builder <br />Representative to the Economic Vitality Committee, which term expires on September 30, 2010, <br />or until such time as she is replaced; <br /> <br />Section 6: Sima Yazdani is appointed to a four-year term as the Software <br />Representative to the Economic Vitality Committee, which term expires on September 30, 2010, <br />or until such time as she is replaced; <br /> <br />Section 7: Douglas Lowe is appointed to a four-year term as the Tri-Valley Convention <br />and Visitors Bureau Representative to the Economic Vitality Committee, which term expires on <br />September 30, 2010, or until such time as he is replaced;; <br /> <br />Section 8: Amy Hodgett is appointed to a four-year term as a member of the Housing <br />Commission, which term expires on September 30, 2010, or until such time as she is replaced; <br /> <br />Section 9: John Casey is appointed to a four-year term as a member of the Housing <br />Commission, which term expires on September 30, 2010, or until such time as he is replaced;; <br /> <br />Section 10: Kendall Koenen is appointed to a four-year term as the alternate member of <br />the Housing Commission, which term expires on September 30, 2010, or until such time as he <br />is replaced;; <br />
