CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 90-29 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR CASE RZ-89-18, THE APPLICATION'OF THE CITY OF P~mASANTON FOR REZONING WHEREAS, at its meeting of February 6, 1990, The Council received the proposed negative declaration for Case RZ-89-18, the application of the City of Pleasanton to rezone an approximately 7.5 acre site located on the southeast corner of Bernal Avenue and Foothill Road from the R-1-6500 (Single-family Residential) District to the R-i-20,000 District, PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Low Density Residential District, or to any other zoning district consistent with the General Plan; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on February 6, 1990, at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposal would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for Case RZ-89-18, the application of the City of Pleasanton to rezone an approximately 7.5 acre site located on the southeast corner of Bernal Avenue and Foothill Road from the R-1-6500 (Single-family Residential) District to the R-i-20,000 District, PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Low Density Residential District, or to any other zoning district consistent with the General Plan. Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
