CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-29 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />CASE RZ-89-18, THE APPLICATION'OF THE CITY OF <br />P~mASANTON FOR REZONING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of February 6, 1990, The Council received <br /> the proposed negative declaration for Case RZ-89-18, the <br /> application of the City of Pleasanton to rezone an <br /> approximately 7.5 acre site located on the southeast <br /> corner of Bernal Avenue and Foothill Road from the <br /> R-1-6500 (Single-family Residential) District to the <br /> R-i-20,000 District, PUD (Planned Unit Development) - <br /> Low Density Residential District, or to any other zoning <br /> district consistent with the General Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study and received the recommendations of the staff and <br /> Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on February 6, <br /> 1990, at which time the public was given the opportunity <br /> to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposal would not have <br /> any significant adverse effects on the environment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for Case RZ-89-18, <br /> the application of the City of Pleasanton to rezone an <br /> approximately 7.5 acre site located on the southeast <br /> corner of Bernal Avenue and Foothill Road from the <br /> R-1-6500 (Single-family Residential) District to the <br /> R-i-20,000 District, PUD (Planned Unit Development) - <br /> Low Density Residential District, or to any other zoning <br /> district consistent with the General Plan. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
