WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-28 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPLICATION OF <br />ORION HOMES/WESTBROOK PROPERTY FILED <br />UNDER CASE PUD-89-18 <br /> <br />Orion Homes/Westbrook Property applied for planned <br />unit development rezoning and development plan <br />approval to subdivide an approximately nine acre <br />site into sixteen single-family residential lots <br />and one remainder parcel located at 10890 Dublin <br />Canyon Road (PUD-89-18); and <br /> <br />zoning for the property is "A" (Agricultural) <br />District; and <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held on <br />February 6, 1990; and <br /> <br />based on the Initial Environmental Study, a <br />negative declaration was adopted by Council on <br />February 6, 1990; and <br /> <br />Council received the Planning Commission's <br />recommendation for approval of the proposed Planned <br />Unit Development rezoning and development plan; <br />and <br /> <br />after hearing all interested persons and receiving <br />and considering all relevant evidence presented at <br />the hearing, the city Council does now find as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> The traffic impacts of this proposed <br />.development on Foothill Road are uncertain. <br /> <br />Due to other development on Dublin Canyon <br />Road, traffic along Dublin Canyon Road and on <br />Foothill Road may be adversely impacted. <br /> <br />Until the Canyon Meadows development is <br />occupied, and the traffic counts known, <br />approval of this proposed development is <br />premature. <br /> <br /> <br />
