Arroyos and Canals The City provides maintenance along arroyo and canal trail areas while Zone 7 provides most of the maintenance for the waterways. Opportunities for enhancement of the arroyos abound: many of the pathways arc not paved, do not have drinking fountains, benches, or restrooms, have little-to-no landscaping, and arc not well signed. "111e majority of bus shelters in the city, while functional in providing shelter, scating, lighting, and views of oncotning buses, appear utilitarian with often weathered plastic siding. 'I1ms the existing shelters do not contribute to uni,)ue design character when located near neighborhoods, parks, and the Downtown. The location of a bus shelter is as important as its design.
