I am in great
favor of this building!
I have lived in Pleasanton for 13 years with my husband and three children. Over the years we have seen a huge amount of
commercial and residential
growth in this city. What we have not seen is a corresponding growth in facilities that support community activities. The John
Paul II Activity Center will
provide a fantastic space for programs that benefit not only the tens of thousands of Catholic residents in Pleasanton, but the
community at large with
non-denominational programs such as CYO Basketball and other youth related activities. In addition, this space will have facilities
that can be used in the
event of city or state wide emergencies.

Undoubtedly you have already heard from the Catholic Community of Pleasanton regarding their successful campaign that
showed the overwhelming support
of this project from their parishioners. I hope that you will take this great support of thousands of Pleasanton residents into
account as you vote on this project.

Thank you for your time and consideration of my e-mail. I am confident that this activity center will be a great asset to not only the
ever growing Catholic Community
of Pleasanton, but benefit the community of Pleasanton as a whole.

Sincerely,

Luann Spindler
1338 Benedict Cl.
Pleasanton

11/29/2006
