EXHIBIT I

November 13, 2006

Dear Resident:

RE: Parking on Via De Los Milagros

A resident from your neighborhood have become concerned about the number of vehicles
for sale that are parked on Via De Los Milagros between V alley Avenue and Via Del
Cielo/Corte Mente. It is anticipated that the creation of a 4-hour parking zone will
eliminate the parking of cars for sale in this area. Please see the map below for the
location of this proposed 4-hour parking zone. Residents will also be affected by this
proposed parking restriction, as any vehicle parked on the street in this zone will be
subject to the 4 hour limit.

Residents who have any concerns about this proposed 4-hour parking zone should contact
Janis Stephen in the Traffic Engineering Division, contact information is provided below.
Ifthere are no objections from nearby residents, this item will be forwarded to the City
Council. Time limit parking requires approval by the City Council. If approved, both the
northern and southern side of Via De Los Milagros, from Valley Avenue to Via Del
Cielo/Corte Mente will be posted with signs to designate 4 hour parking. The size of the
signs will be similar to the existing 4 hour parking signs on Paseo Santa Cruz, adjacent to
the Pleasanton Tennis and Community Park. The signs will read "4 hour parking except
Holidays". This restriction will include weekends, but not holidays.

If you have any concerns about this proposed parking restriction, please
contact Janis Stephen in the Traffic Engineering Division:

City of Pleasanton
Traffic Engineering
Division
Janis Stephen
P.O.
