CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 90-08 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR CASE RZ-89-19, THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PT~ASANTON TO PREZONE AN APPROXIMATELY 48.4 ACRE SITE LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF FOOTHILL ROAD, OPPOSITE OAK CREEK DRIVE, TO THE PUD (PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT) - LOW/RURAL DENSITY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT (33 ACRES), AND THE "A" (AGRICULTURAL) DISTRICT (15 ACRES) WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 2, 1990, the City Council received a proposed negative declaration for RZ-89-19 to prezone an approximately 48.4 acre site located on the west side of Foothill road, opposite Oak Creek Drive, to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Low/Rural Density Residential District (33 acres), and the "A" (Agricultural) District (15 acres); and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated December 6, 1989 and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held January 2, 1990 at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposal would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for Case RZ-89-19 to prezone an approximately 48.4 acre site located on the west side of Foothill Road, opposite Oak Creek Drive, to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Low/Rural Density District (33 acres), and the "A" (Agricultural) District (15 acres). Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
