CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 90-02 RESOLUTION AMENDINGRESOI/3TION NO. 76-79 (ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS FOR CITY STREETS) BY AMENDING SECTION 3 REGARDING INSTATW~TION OF STOP SIGNS AT THE INTERSECTIONS OF INDEPENDENCE DRIVE/JUNIPERO STREET ANDMAYWOOD DRIVE/SPRINGDAr~ AVENUE WHEREAS, on April 12, 1976, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic Regulations for City Streets); and WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended Resolution No. 76-79; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 2, 1990, the City Council received and discussed reports (SR 90:07 and 90:08) from the Director of Public Works and Utilities related to requests for installation of stop signs at the intersections of Independence Drive/Junipero Street and Maywood Drive/Springdale Avenue; and WHEREAS, it was determined to be necessary to amend Resolution No. 76-79 to add subsections 3i-2, 3j-2, and 3m-9 to Section 3, Stop Intersections; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic Regulations for City Streets) is hereby amended by adding the following subsections to Section 3: 3i-2 IndeDendence Drive, at Junipero Street; stopping traffic on Independence Drive. 3j-2 Junipero Street, at Independence Drive; stopping traffic on Junipero Street in both directions. 3m-9 Maywood Drive, at Springdale Avenue; stopping traffic on Maywood Drive in both directions. Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
