CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-01 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF <br />PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR BIKE LANES <br />ON VALLEY AVENUE FROM HOPYARD ROAD TO <br />SANTA RITA ROAD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on December 13, 1989, staff prepared a bicycle <br />project to present before the Metropolitan <br />Transportation Commission for consideration to <br />obtain TDA, Article 3 Bicycle Funds; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />MTC, TDA Article 3 funding requires approval from <br />the governing agency to establish full <br />eligibility; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Authorizes and approves the preparation of plans <br /> and specifications for approximately 13,000 feet of <br /> bike lanes and related improvements on Valley <br /> Avenue from Hopyard Road to Santa Rita Road. <br /> <br />Section 2: Approves the acceptance of MTC, TDA Article 3 <br /> monies to fund this project. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON, AT A MEETING HELD ON JANUARY 2, 1990 BY THE <br />FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and <br />Mayor Mercer <br />None <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />Pegg6/~L~ ~zidr~ - <br />Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: ,~ <br /> <br />Michael H.
