CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-218 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING 1991-92 FINANCIAL REPORT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br /> each year a report of financial condition is presented <br />to Council which includes any staff recommendations for <br />budget amendments, carryovers, establishment of reserves, <br />technical corrections or actions needed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />staff presented to Council such a report (SR 92:432) for <br />the fiscal year ending June 30, 1992; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />as a result of the year end financial review, staff made <br />numerous recommendations as outlined in that report. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The Operating Budget carryovers detailed in Appendix <br /> F, and Capital Improvement Budget carryovers detailed in <br /> Appendix G be approved. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Specially Designated Reserves as detailed in <br /> Appendix B be established. <br /> <br />Section 3: The General Fund and General Fund Capital Projects Fund <br /> balances as detailed in Appendix B be fully appropriated. <br /> <br />Section 4: <br /> <br /> Ail other balances shall be appropriated to contingency <br />reserves designated for existing and future, known and <br />unknown, obligations. <br /> <br />Section 5: Authorizes an additional $1.275 million to be <br /> appropriated for progress payments on the Harvest Park <br /> Gym, bringing the total funded appropriation to $2.275 <br /> million. <br /> <br />Section 6: The 1991-92 Sewer Maintenance and Operating (M & O) <br /> Budget is amended by increasing revenue projections by <br /> $377,822, appropriating an additional $239,727 and <br /> approving an increase in net operating transfers out by <br /> $127,494. <br /> <br />Section 7: <br /> <br /> The Self-Insurance Fund budget is amended to reflect <br />all 1991-92 insurance expenditures being charged to the <br />General Fund, in order to maintain adequate self- <br />insurance reserves, per the actuarial study. <br /> <br />Section 8: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
