CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 92-218 RESOLUTION APPROVING 1991-92 FINANCIAL REPORT WHEREAS, each year a report of financial condition is presented to Council which includes any staff recommendations for budget amendments, carryovers, establishment of reserves, technical corrections or actions needed; and WHEREAS, staff presented to Council such a report (SR 92:432) for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1992; and WHEREAS, as a result of the year end financial review, staff made numerous recommendations as outlined in that report. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The Operating Budget carryovers detailed in Appendix F, and Capital Improvement Budget carryovers detailed in Appendix G be approved. Section 2: The Specially Designated Reserves as detailed in Appendix B be established. Section 3: The General Fund and General Fund Capital Projects Fund balances as detailed in Appendix B be fully appropriated. Section 4: Ail other balances shall be appropriated to contingency reserves designated for existing and future, known and unknown, obligations. Section 5: Authorizes an additional $1.275 million to be appropriated for progress payments on the Harvest Park Gym, bringing the total funded appropriation to $2.275 million. Section 6: The 1991-92 Sewer Maintenance and Operating (M & O) Budget is amended by increasing revenue projections by $377,822, appropriating an additional $239,727 and approving an increase in net operating transfers out by $127,494. Section 7: The Self-Insurance Fund budget is amended to reflect all 1991-92 insurance expenditures being charged to the General Fund, in order to maintain adequate self- insurance reserves, per the actuarial study. Section 8: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
