93082748 CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 92-211 RESOLUTION VACATING A RIGHT-OF-WAY ON FIRST STREET WHEREAS , at its meeting of November 17, 1992, Council reviewed the staff report (SR 92:471) recommending the vacation of a portion of the public right-of-way along First Street, more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference; and WHEREAS, the excess right-of-way is not required for street or pedestrian purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Pursuant to Chapter 4 of the Streets and Highways Code and based upon the findings above establishing that the right-of-way is not required for street or pedestrian purposes pursuant to Section 8334 of the Streets and Highways Code, the public right-of-way described in Exhibit "A" is hereby vacated. Section 2: The Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this resolution of vacation to be recorded in the Office of the Alameda County Recorder. Section 3: That from and after the date the resolution is recorded, the street, highway, or public service easement vacated no longer constitutes a street, highway, or public service easement. Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT A MEETING HELD ON NOVEMBER 17, 1992 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: AYES: Councilmembers - Mayor Mercer NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None APPROVED AS TO FORM: Michael H.
