93082748 <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-211 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION VACATING A RIGHT-OF-WAY ON FIRST <br />STREET <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />at its meeting of November 17, 1992, Council reviewed the <br />staff report (SR 92:471) recommending the vacation of a <br />portion of the public right-of-way along First Street, <br />more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached <br />hereto and incorporated herein by this reference; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the excess right-of-way is not required for street or <br />pedestrian purposes; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> Pursuant to Chapter 4 of the Streets and Highways Code <br />and based upon the findings above establishing that the <br />right-of-way is not required for street or pedestrian <br />purposes pursuant to Section 8334 of the Streets and <br />Highways Code, the public right-of-way described in <br />Exhibit "A" is hereby vacated. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br /> The Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this <br />resolution of vacation to be recorded in the Office of <br />the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 3: <br /> <br /> That from and after the date the resolution is <br />recorded, the street, highway, or public service easement <br />vacated no longer constitutes a street, highway, or <br />public service easement. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON NOVEMBER 17, 1992 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Michael H.
