<br />RESOLUTION NO. 06-076 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON APPOINTING <br />CINDY McGOVERN AS VICE MAYOR FOR 2007 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council annually appoints a Vice Mayor from among its members. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council does hereby appoint Cindy McGovern to serve for a <br />period of one year, until December 2007, as Vice Mayor of the City of Pleasanton and presiding <br />member of the City Council in the absence of the Mayor. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br />adoption. <br /> <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br />a regular meeting held on the 5th day of December, 2006. <br /> <br />I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br />resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 5th day of <br />December 2006, by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Councilmembers Cook-Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />Abstain: None <br /> <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />11A(cJu0)#~ <br /> <br />Michael H.
