CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-201 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF <br />PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY AND ROBERTSON <br />HOMES FOR A GIIdERAL PLAN AMENDMENT TO CHANGE <br />THE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF A 79 ACRE SITE IN <br />THE HACIENDA BUSINESS PARK FROM "BUSINESS PARK <br />(INDIISTRTA~/COML~FtCIAL/OFFICE) ° TO "HIGH <br />DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" AS FILED UNDER CASE <br />GP-91-4 <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 10, 1991, the City Council <br />received an application from Prudential Insurance Company <br />and Robertson Homes for a General Plan Amendment to <br />change the land use designation of a 79 acre site located <br />in the Hacienda Business Park bordered by Tassajara Creek <br />on the east, Hacienda Drive on the west, Owens Drive on <br />the north and Stoneridge Drive on the south from <br />"Business Park (Industrial/Commercial/Office)" to "High <br />Density Residential"; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council received and reviewed the recommendation <br />of the Planning Commission and the Staff Report and <br />attachments from the Director of Planning and Community <br />Development (SR 91:512) regarding the proposed General <br />Plan Amendment; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council determined that a Negative Declaration <br />was appropriate for the proposed General Plan Amendment <br />and adopted Resolution No. 91-200 approving the Negative <br />Declaration; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held with respect to <br />the General Plan Amendment at which time any member of <br />the public was offered the opportunity to address the <br />City Council on said amendment; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section l: The City Council approves the application of Prudential <br />Insurance Company and Robertson Homes for a General Plan <br />Amendment to change the land use designation of a 79 acre <br />site located in the Hacienda Business Park bordered by <br />Tassajara Creek on the east, Hacienda Drive on the west, <br />Owens Drive on the north and Stoneridge Drive on the <br />south from "Business Park (Industrial/Commercial/Office)" <br />to "High Density Residential". <br />
