CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 91-193 RESOLUTION UPHOLDING THE APPEAL OF SPIERER PARTNERS (CASE AP-91-06) THEREBY GRANTING APPROVAL OF CASE Z-91-65, THE APPLICATION TO ADD TWO NAMES TO THE PYLON SIGN FOR ROSE PAVILION WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 24, 1991, the Design Review Board denied Case AP-91-6 (Z-91-65), the application of Spieker Partners to install two additional tenant identification signs on the existing freeway pylon sign for Rose Pavilion Shopping Center; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Commercial District; and WHEREAS, within the time specified by the Pleasanton Municipal Code, the applicant submitted an appeal to the City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the City Council on October 15, 1991, at which time all pertinent testimony and documents were reviewed; and WHEREAS, on October 15, 1991, the City Council denied the appeal and thereby denied the application; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of November 5, 1991, a resolution to reconsider Council's decision was approved and the matter was scheduled for the next meeting; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of November 19, 1991, Council heard further testimony and reviewed documents regarding the application; NOW, THERE FORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section l: Council hereby upholds the appeal (Case AP-91-06), thereby granting the application of Spieker Partners (Case Z-91-65) to install two additional tenant identification signs on the existing freeway pylon sign for Rose Pavilion Shopping Center, subject to the following conditions: 1. The proposed sign shall conform substantially to the sign elevations, Exhibit A (dated "Received April 23, 1991") on file with the. Planning Department.
