CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-176 <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF SPIERER <br />PARTNERS THEREBY UPHOLDING THE DECISION OF THE <br />DESIGN REVIEW BOARD DENYING AN APPLICATION TO <br />INSTALL TWO ADDITIONAL TENANT SIGNS ON AN <br />EXISTING FREEWAY PYLON, AS FILED UNDER CASE <br />AP-91-6/Z-91-65 <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 24, 1991, the Design Review <br />Board denied Case AP-91-6 (Z-91-65), the application of <br />Spieker Partners to install two additional tenant <br />identifications signs on the existing freeway pylon sign <br />for Rose Pavilion Shopping Center; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) <br />- Commercial District; and <br />WHEREAS, within the time specified by the Pleasanton Municipal <br />Code, the applicant submitted an appeal to the City Clerk <br />of the City of Pleasanton; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the City Council on <br />October 15, 1991, at which time all pertinent testimony <br />and documents were reviewed; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Denies Case AP-91-06, thereby upholding the Design <br />Review Board's denial of Case Z-91-65, the application of <br />Spieker Partners to install two additional tenant <br />identification signs on the existing freeway pylon sign <br />for Rose Pavilion Shopping Center. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON OCTOBER 15, 1991 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mohr, and Scribner <br />NOES: Councilmember Tarver and Mayor Mercer <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />ATTEST: <br />Pegg zidr City Clerk <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />Michael H.
