APPENDIX "A" <br />Innovation Groups Evaluation Program <br />for <br />Electronic Point of Sales Services <br />THIS AGREEMENT for the Innovation Groups' Evaluation Program <br />for Electronic Point of Sales Services is made on the date stated <br />below by and between Cif ~I eG-Sa,1.to v~. ( "City/County" ) <br />located in ~}lL~.natr,CG~. County, Cali orni and The <br />Innovation Groups.("The Innovation Groups"), a Florida corporation, <br />with principal offices located at 6604 Harney Road, Suite L, Post <br />Office Box 16645, Tampa, FL 33687, (813) 622-8484. <br />WHEREAS, The Innovation Groups is a not-for-profit <br />organization which functions as a consortium of cities, counties, <br />towns, and private companies working together to .introduce <br />innovative programs and products to the public sector; and <br />WHEREAS, the City/County wishes to participate in the <br />electronic point of sales evaluation program as defined in the <br />agreement between the City/County and Consumer Payment Services. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises <br />hereafter set forth, it is agreed as follows: <br />1. The City/County shall: <br />a. Create customer awareness for the electronic point <br />of sales program throughout your community through such <br />activities as announcements over your community access cable <br />channel; announcements included with utility bills; articles <br />in your citizen and employee newsletters; press releases to <br />your local media; media coverage during the first days of <br />usage; placards in the areas in which the credit card stations <br />will be placed, etc.; <br />b. On a quarterly basis submit a short report (one to <br />two pages) which summarizes the pluses and minuses of the <br />program in your jurisdiction to date. This report should <br />include recommendations for the improvement of the program as <br />well as descriptions of special programs you have implemented <br />to encourage usage; <br />c. Identify .applications which you feel will provide <br />the best possible customer service regarding the optional use <br />of credit cards.
