CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-171 <br />RESOLUTION ADDING AGENDA ITEM REGARDING <br />ACCEPTANCE OF OFFER OF DEDICATION OF PARCELS <br />A, B, C AND D OF TRACT 4768 <br />WHEREAS, Council received a memorandum from the Director of Public <br />Works and Utilities regarding the City's acceptance of an <br />Offer of Dedication of Parcels A, B, C, and D of Tract <br />4768; and <br />WHEREAS, there is disagreement on the ownership of the Parcels and <br />the purported owners of those parcels have indictaed they <br />will commence construction on those parcels immediately; <br />and <br />WHERAS, consideration of this matter was not set forth on the <br />City Council agenda for October 15, 1991, because <br />information was not available until after the agenda was <br />posted; and <br />WHEREAS, the Brown Act permits the Council to add an item to the <br />agenda upon a two-thirds vote of the Council that the <br />item arose after the time the agenda was posted; and <br />WHEREAS, due to the imminent actions of the purported owners of <br />the parcels, action must be taken by Council before it <br />meets again. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Based on the findings set forth above, a resolution <br />to accept offer of dedication of Parcels A, B, C, and D, <br />of Tract 4768 is hereby added to the October 15, 1991 <br />agenda for Council consideration and action, if <br />necessary. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />
