CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-167 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR CASE RZ-91-6, PREZONING APPROXIMATELY 560 <br />ACRES LOCATED EAST OF HEARST DRIVE AND SOiJTH <br />OF RED FEATHER DRIVE TO THE PUD (PLANNED UNIT <br />DEVELOPMENT) - RURAL DENSITY RESIDENTIAL <br />DISTRICT AND OPEN SPACE <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 1, 1991, the City Council <br />received a proposed negative declaration for the <br />application of the City of Pleasanton to prezone <br />approximately 560 acres located east of Hearst Drive and <br />south of Red Feather Drive to the PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - Rural Density Residential and Open Space <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br />Study dated August 29, 1991 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br />public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposed prezoning; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br />accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines <br />governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and <br />Environmental Impact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed prezoning would <br />not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for Case RZ-91-6, <br />the application of the City of Pleasanton to prezone <br />approximately 560 acres located east of Hearst Drive and <br />south of Red Feather Drive to the PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - Rural Density Residential and Open Space <br />District. <br />
