PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-89-114 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />CASE RZ-89-19 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to prezone an <br />approximately 48.4 acre site located on the west side of <br />Foothill Road, opposite Oak Creek Drive to the PUD <br />(Planned Unit Development) - Low Density/Rural Density <br />Residential District (33 acres), and "A" (Agricultural) <br />District (15 acres) or to any other zoning district <br />consistent with the General Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 13 1989, the Planning <br />Commission received a proposed negative declaration for <br />Case RZ-89-19; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated December 6, 1989 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held December 13, 1989 <br />at which time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed rezoning <br />would not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration <br />Case RZ-89-19, the application of the <br />to prezone an approximately 48.4 are <br />west side of Foothill Road, opposite <br />the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - <br />Residential District (33 acres), and <br />District (15 acres). <br />for <br />City of Pleasanton <br />site located on the <br />Oak Creek Drive to <br />Low Density <br />"A" (Agricultural) <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediatel <br />upon its passage and adoption. y <br />~~ <br />
