PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. PC-89-114 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR CASE RZ-89-19 WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to prezone an approximately 48.4 acre site located on the west side of Foothill Road, opposite Oak Creek Drive to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Low Density/Rural Density Residential District (33 acres), and "A" (Agricultural) District (15 acres) or to any other zoning district consistent with the General Plan; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 13 1989, the Planning Commission received a proposed negative declaration for Case RZ-89-19; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated December 6, 1989 and received the recommendations of the staff; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held December 13, 1989 at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed rezoning would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration Case RZ-89-19, the application of the to prezone an approximately 48.4 are west side of Foothill Road, opposite the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Residential District (33 acres), and District (15 acres). for City of Pleasanton site located on the Oak Creek Drive to Low Density "A" (Agricultural) Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediatel upon its passage and adoption. y ~~
