PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-89-105 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE RZ-89-8, AN <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 20.40 (SWIMMING POOLS), TITLE <br />20 (BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF <br />THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to amend the <br />Municipal Code regarding provisions for setbacks for <br />pool equipment and spas; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of November 29, <br />1989, the Planning Commission considered all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, amendments of this nature pertaining to minor <br />alterations in land use regulations are categorically <br />exempt from the requirements of the California <br />Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of Case RZ-89-8, the application <br />of the City of Pleasanton to amend the Municipal Code <br />regarding provisions for setbacks for pool equipment and <br />spas as set forth in the draft ordinance, Exhibit "A", <br />attached hereto and made part of this case by <br />reference. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective <br />immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON THE 29TH DAY OF NOVEMBER 1989 BY THE <br />FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Berger, Horan, Hovingh, Mahern, and <br />Chairman Michelotti <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />
