PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-89-94 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE <br />RZ-89-10, THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO <br />PREZONE PROPERTY WEST OF FOOTHILL ROAD <br />WHEREAS, at their meeting of September 5, 1989, the City Council <br />initiated prezoning of the two properties totalling 351 <br />acres owned by Currin Construction and the East Bay <br />Regional Park District, as shown on Exhibit "A"; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of October 11 1989, <br />the Planning,Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 11, 1989, the Planning <br />Commission recommended approval of a proposed negative <br />declaration for RZ-89-10 after considering all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff; and <br />WHEREAS, prezoning the 250 acre EBRPD property to the "P" (Public <br />and Institutional) District is consistent with the <br />General Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, that prezoning the 91 acre Currin property PUD (Planned <br />Unit Development) - Rural and Low Density Residential <br />District and the 10 acre Currin property to the "A" <br />(Agricultural) District are consistent with the General <br />Plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Recommends approval of Case RZ-89-10, the application <br />of the City of Pleasanton to prezone an approximately <br />351 acre site (shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and <br />made part of this case by reference) located at the <br />southwest of Castlewood Country Club and generally west <br />of Foothill Road as follows: <br />1. Recommends that the 250 acre EBRPD property be <br />prezoned to the "P" (Public and Institutional) <br />District; <br />2. recommends that the 91 acre Currin property be <br />prezoned to the PUD (Planed Unit Development) Rural <br />and Low Density Residential District; and <br />
