PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-89-93 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />RZ-89-10, THE. APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO <br />PREZONE PROPERTY WEST OF FOOTHILL ROAD <br />WHEREAS, at their meeting of September 5, 1989, the City Council <br />initiated prezoning of the two properties totalling 351 <br />acres owned by Currin Construction and the East Bay <br />Regional Park District, as shown on Exhibit "A"; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of October 11 1989, <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 11, 1989, the Planning <br />Commission received a proposed negative declaration for <br />RZ-89-10; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated October 6, 1989 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held October 11, 1989 <br />at which time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposal would <br />not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration prepared for Case <br />RZ-89-10, the application of the City of Pleasanton to <br />prezone an approximately 351 acre site located at the <br />southwest of Castlewood Country Club and generally west <br />of Foothill Road to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - <br />Low Density Residential, "A" Agricultural) and "P" <br />(Public and Institutional) District. <br />
