PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. PC-89-93 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR RZ-89-10, THE. APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO PREZONE PROPERTY WEST OF FOOTHILL ROAD WHEREAS, at their meeting of September 5, 1989, the City Council initiated prezoning of the two properties totalling 351 acres owned by Currin Construction and the East Bay Regional Park District, as shown on Exhibit "A"; and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of October 11 1989, the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the City staff concerning this application; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 11, 1989, the Planning Commission received a proposed negative declaration for RZ-89-10; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated October 6, 1989 and received the recommendations of the staff; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held October 11, 1989 at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposal would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration prepared for Case RZ-89-10, the application of the City of Pleasanton to prezone an approximately 351 acre site located at the southwest of Castlewood Country Club and generally west of Foothill Road to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Low Density Residential, "A" Agricultural) and "P" (Public and Institutional) District.
