PC-89-87 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGiCATIONEOF PRUDENTIAL <br />PUD-81-30-48D-22, THE APPL <br />INSURANCE COMPANY <br />WHEREAS, Prudential Insurance Company of America has applied for <br />a major modification and design review approval to <br />construct afive-story, approximately 230,000 sq. ft. <br />office building to be located on enarearboundedlbylBaker <br />acre site located generally in th <br />Drive, Gibraltar Drive, and Hacienda Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD trcialeandnOffices <br />Development} - Industrial, Comme <br />District; and <br />the Planning <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 11, 1989, <br />Commission received a proposed negative declaration for <br />PUD-81-30-48D-22M; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated September 28, 1989 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held October 11, 1989 <br />at which time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed 1thiePstateland <br />impacts in accordance with the appli~ab <br />local guidelines governing the preparationr~S,Nandtive <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Repo , <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposal would <br />not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration prepared for Case <br />PUD-81-30-48D-22, the application aorrovalrtoUconstruct <br />modification and development plan pp <br />afive-story, 225,000 sq. ft. office building located in <br />the area generally bounded by Baker Drive, Gibraltar <br />Drive, and Hacienda Drive. <br />
