PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-89-83 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE PUD-89-11, THE <br />APPLICATION OF KAISER TECH <br />WHEREAS, Kaiser Tech has applied to rezone the 80 acre Kaiser <br />Center for Technology site from I-P (Industrial Park) <br />District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - <br />Industrial District and approve a phased development <br />plan for the 17.61 acre portion of the site containing <br />the existing core facilities and associated off-street <br />parking improvements; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 27, 1989, the Planning <br />Commission recommended approval of a proposed negative <br />declaration for PUD-89-11 after considering all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the <br />City staff; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the PUD - I District <br />is consistent with the Genreal Plan and that the <br />developmnt plan for the 17.61 acre core area meets the <br />purposes of the PUD District. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />section 1: Recommends approval of Case PUD-89-11, the <br />application of Kaiser Tech to rezone the 80 acre Kaiser <br />Center Kaiser for Technology site from I-P (Industrial <br />Park) District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) <br />Industrial District and approval of a phased development <br />plan for the 17.61 acre portion of the site containing <br />the existing core facilities and associated off-street <br />parking improvements located at 6177 Sunol Boulevard <br />subject to the conditions shown on Exhibit "A" attached <br />hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />THIS RESOLUTION PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ON THE 27TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER 1989 BY THE <br />FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Berger, Hovingh, Mahern, McGuirk, and <br />Chairman Michelotti <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Horan <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />
