PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-89-82 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />CASE PUD-89-11, THE APPLICATION OF KAISER TECH <br />WHEREAS, Kaiser Tech has applied to rezone-pheIndustrialaPark) <br />Center for Technology site from I <br />District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - <br />Industrial District and approve a phased development <br />plan for the 17.61 acre portion of the site containing <br />the existing core facilities and associated off-street <br />parking improvements; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 27, 1989, the Planning <br />Commission received a proposed negative declaration for <br />PUD-89-11; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated July 28, 1989 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held September 27, <br />1989, at which time the public was given the opportunity <br />to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposal would <br />not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for <br />Case PUD-89-11, the application of Kaiser Tech tsitezone <br />the 80 acre Kaiser Center Kaiser for Technology <br />from I-P (Industrial Park) District to thedPaD ~OVenaed <br />Unit Development) - Industrial District an pp <br />phased development plan for the 17.61 acre portion of <br />the site containing the existing core facilities and <br />associated off-street parking improvements located at <br />6177 Sunol Boulevard. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />
