PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-89-77 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE PUD-81-30-46D, <br />THE APPLICATION OF PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY OF <br />AMERICA <br />WHEREAS, Prudential Insurance Company of America has applied for <br />design review approval to construct an approximately <br />5,040 sq. ft. post office substation, 8,060 sq. ft. <br />retail commercial building, and a building pad location <br />for a potential 3,700 sq. ft. retail <br />commercial/restaurant use to be located on an <br />approximately 2.76 acre site located at the southeast <br />corner of the intersection of Chabot and Gibraltar <br />Drives; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - Industrial/Commercial and Offices <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of September 13, <br />1989, the Planning Commission considered all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, an environmental impact report was prepared for the <br />rezoning and development of Hacienda Business Park and <br />projects of this nature were included within the scope <br />of that EIR. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of Case PUD-81-30-46D, the <br />application of Prudential for design review approval for <br />a 145,000 sq. ft. office and R & D complex proposed to <br />be located on a 10.82 acre site located at the southeast <br />corner of Willow Road and Stoneridge Drive subject to <br />the conditions shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and <br />made part of this case by reference. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective <br />immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br />
