PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. PC-89-73A RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR CASE UP-89-31, APPLICATION OF PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY OF AMERICA FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO OPERATE A HELIPORT WHEREAS, Prudential Insurance Company of America has applied for a conditional use permit to allow the operation of a heliport facility, including a landing pad, on-site parking, landscaping, and related improvements on the property located on the north side of Owens Drive opposite its intersection with Willow Road; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development - Industrial, Commercial and Offices District; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 23, 1989, the Planning Commission received a proposed negative declaration for UP-89-31; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated June 1, 1989 and received the recommendations of the staff; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held August 23, 1989 at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposal would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for Case UP-89-31, the application of Prudential Insurance Company of America for a conditional use permit to allow the operation of a heliport facility, including a landing pad, on-site parking, landscaping, and related improvements on the property located on the north side of Owens Drive opposite its intersection with Willow Road.
