Resolution No. PC-89-72 <br />Page 2 - 8/9/89 <br />The proposed church facility will not have an <br />adverse impact on surrounding properties due to the <br />hours of operation and small number of members. <br />Also, adequate parking is available to present <br />parking conflicts with the neighboring tenants and <br />properties. But, because the size of the meeting <br />area exceeds 750 sq. ft., a second exit is required <br />in the main room. <br />C. That the proposed conditional use will comply with <br />each of the applicable provisions of the ordinance <br />code. <br />That the proposed conditional use complies with all <br />applicable provisions of the Zoning Ordinance, <br />Chapter 18 of the Municipal Code regarding parking <br />and type of use; and <br />WHEREAS, an environmental impact report was prepared in <br />conjunction with the PUD approval on the subject <br />property. Uses Of This Type were foreseen in the EIR; <br />therefore, no further environmental assessment is <br />required with this application. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Approves Case UP-89-40, application of the Church of <br />Christ for a conditional use permit to operate a church <br />facility within an existing light industrial building at <br />1257 Quarry Lane subject to the following conditions: <br />1. That the applicant shall install a second exit in <br />the main meeting room of the facility as required <br />by the Building Department. Otherwise, the church <br />shall conform to the site plan and narrative (dated <br />July 12, 1989) on file with the Planning <br />Department. <br />2. That no signage is approved as part of this <br />project. Any signage shall conform to the existing <br />approved sign program for the Quarry Business <br />Center, subject to the approval of the Planning <br />Department. Proposed deviations from the approved <br />sign program shall require separate Design Review <br />Board approval. <br />3. That the hours of operation shall be Wednesday from <br />7:30 pm - 8:30 pm, and Sunday from 9:30 am - 11:30 <br />am and from 5pm - 6pm. <br />4. That the applicant shall obtain all applicable City <br />permits prior to improvement to and operation of <br />the facility. <br />
