PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-89-61 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE PUD-85-8-4D, <br />THE APPLICATION OF RETAIL PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT <br />WHEREAS, Retail Property Development Company has applied for <br />design review approval to construct a two-building, <br />approximately 35,900 square foot retail commercial <br />complex to be located on an approximately 3.2 acre site <br />located on the north side of Owens Drive approximately <br />400 feet east of the intersection of Chabot Drive and <br />Owens Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - Industrial/Commercial and Offices <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of May 24 1989, the <br />Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposal conforms <br />to the approved Planned Unit Development development <br />plan and zoning for the subject site; and <br />WHEREAS, an environmental impact report was prepared for the <br />rezoning of the Hacienda Business Park. Projects of <br />this type were considered within the scope of that <br />environmental impact report. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of Case PUD-85-8-4D, the <br />application of Retail Property Development Company for <br />design review approval to construct a two-building, <br />approximately 35,900 sq. ft. retail commercial complex <br />to be located on an approximately 3.2 acre site located <br />on the north side of Owens Drive approximately 400 feet <br />east of the intersection of Chabot Drive and Owens Drive <br />subject to the conditions shown on Exhibit "A" attached <br />hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective <br />immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br />
